You have no idea how much I would give to play this game. So let me tell you. ANYTHING.

I don't pirate games (that are not on the PC and only in Japan) so I can't get this. Even if I could, I don't speak Japanese so it wouldn't matter.

If only some amazing and brave company brought this over to America. Some company that begins with A... and is known for bringing anime-like games to America.....
/cough

Anyway. She looks pretty good all CG like that.

You don't really need to speak Japanese to play the game. For costume selection, it shows you a preview, and for the songs, you're going to wind up playing them all, anyway, so memorizing a few characters won't be that hard. I think some of the song titles are in English, too.

The only thing you'd need to speak Japanese for would be the room customization.

The song editor (Yes, you can make your own stepfiles using your own MP3s) will probably be pretty intuitive anyway.

EDIT: Yeah, that one company should localize it. What was it again...? A-something...?

Although, the game is being made by SEGA, so I doubt they'll let anyone else do anything with it.

They already have those, Woonam. Just go on Google.

EDIT: I just realized I misspelled "Miku" in the title. Why does this always happen to me? >__>

I don't have one of those fancy DS illegal game downloaders/players. Although I know people who do so maybe I'll force them to get this game and play it. But I still wish it would be localized so I could really play it.

... I also wish I could actually understand how to get/work Vocaloid itself

It would be nice if they do release a US version, just the text/instructions, as mentioned earlier.

True, the game appears to be intuitive enough, but it would sure be nice to have a translated version too :)

That is what I meant. I have no idea why I said DS.
Maybe I have Devil Survivor in my brain too much as the date gets closer.

DS = Region Free. Import from PlayAsia/Wherever, any game will play (Except DSi, those are apparently Region Locked)
PSP = Also Region Free. Again, import from wherever, any game will play (so long as you have the proper version firmware).

Trust me. I've played Taiko no Tatsujin 1 and 2 (DS), Pokémon Pearl (JP DS), CLANNAD (PSP), and THE iDOLM@STER SP (All Three Versions, Asia and JP Vers, PSP). There is no illegal dealings going on, just an order from somewhere online. (I personally use PlayAsia, a lot of people do too)

I've had my copy of this game pre-ordered for a couple months now. ;3 I ♥ Miku~

edit: also if anyone's skeptic on buying a Japanese game and not understanding it:

THIS IS A RHYTHM GAME. xD; These kinds of games are NEVER too complicated to understand even if you can't read crap of what's going on.

Really guys. My limited knowledge of Japanese (Which is pretty much just Kana, in which I read the Katakana words and try to figure out what English word it is) has gotten me through JP games before (even MMOs!), so it really isn't as hard as it looks.

I swear, Project Diva will work like this:

Pick Song
Pick Outfit
Press Buttons
Repeat

There will be some not-important stuff you won't get without Japanese knowledge or fooling around with it (The Room thing, Custom Songs), but even that can be played around in and you can figure it out. :P

For some reason I totally and completely forgot that the PSP was region-free. Awesome. Shipping is murder though. I'll pick this up as soon as I get the money (which, due to a recent $350 setback, won't be anytime soon). I just wish there was as much (or more) Luka as there is Miku. For obvious personal reasons. Although I'll still happily take a Miku-themed game. Luka is in it as well, anyway.

I REMEMBER IT BEING JULY 5TH.

EITHER WAY, I DON'T CARE. IT COMES OUT ON JULY 2ND AND IT MAKES ME HAPPY.

I didn't know that. It makes me happy as well. Although not too much happier since I probably won't be able to buy it until winter anyway. But at least that means I get to watch all the gameplay videos a bit sooner.
